01 — How it works

From gym door to first set in under a minute.

No onboarding quiz, no preset programs you won't use. Name what's in front of you and lift.

  1. Name what's in front of you

Squat rack, dreadmill, the mystery cable machine. Create an exercise and choose what it tracks.

  2. Log sets as you lift

Your warmups and working sets are saved as you type. Phone dies mid-set? Nothing is lost.

  3. Rest, then beat your best

Set the rest timer between sets (or not), and any set that tops your personal history earns a star.

02 — Day to day

Your training, organized the way you actually train.

Routines bend to your gym, every session is kept in a log you can flip back through, and charts visually show your progress.

Routines without rigidity

Group exercises by gym day, muscle group, or which corner of the gym they live in. Run them in any order, with badges showing their status.

A log you can flip through

Every session lands on the calendar with dots showing your training days. Tap one to see the sessions, sets, and notes you left yourself.

Trends at a glance

Progress charts show what you lifted (heaviest weight or est. 1RM) over whatever date range you care about. Pro comes with even more.

03 — Pro, in practice

What Pro actually gets you.

Pro is $24.99, one time — no renewal, no lockout. It buys the tools that do the thinking between sets.

Plates in your gym Pro

Toggle off the plates your gym doesn't have. The per-side breakdown only ever asks for what's actually on the rack.

Warmups without math Pro

Pick a percent of your working weight and get the exact bar load, plates included. No mental math while half your brain is still waking up.

Goals with a payoff Pro

Set a target on any exercise. The session that clears it gets the trophy; raise the bar or archive the win from any tab.

All three ship with Pro — $24.99, once. Plus Apple Health sync, advanced graphs, iCloud backup, and migration.

04 — Pricing

Free. Then pay once, if you want more.

The core app is free with no trial clock. Pro is a single purchase, yours forever. The only subscription on offer is cosmetic — no feature ever requires it.

Wondering what the catch is? There isn't one — here's the FAQ.

05 — Fair questions

Asked by people who've been burned before.

Is the free version actually usable, or is it a demo?

It's the whole core app: unlimited exercises, routines, sessions, the rest timer, plate calculator, personal bests, progress charts, manual backup, and CSV export. There's no trial period and no feature that stops working after two weeks. Pro adds extras; it never unlocks basics.

Where does my data live?

On your iPhone. There is no Lift Logger server and no account. Backups go to your iCloud Drive, under your Apple ID, where we couldn't read them even if we wanted to. The full privacy page spells it out.

Can I bring my history from another workout app?

Yes — Pro includes a guided migration wizard that imports CSV exports from other trackers, so you keep years of history instead of starting from zero.

What happens to my Pro features if I ever stop paying?

Pro is a one-time purchase, so there's nothing to stop paying. And as policy: anything you created with a paid feature stays yours and stays visible, always.
