Terms
Use Lift Logger to help you train.
It's built to be quietly useful — track your lifts, build your routines, hit your goals. By using the app or this website, you agree to a few simple things.
These terms cover both the Lift Logger iPhone app and this website. They're deliberately short. If a line here ever conflicts with what the App Store or Apple require, Apple's terms win for anything you bought through them.
Provided as-is
Software has bugs. Lift Logger is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee it'll never crash or lose data. Keep an occasional backup — that's what the export and iCloud backup features are for. The same goes for this website: it's offered as-is, and we don't promise it'll always be online or error-free.
Pro and Supporter
Pro is a one-time purchase. Supporter is a recurring subscription that renews through Apple until you cancel it in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Both go through the App Store, and refunds are handled by Apple under their usual policies. We don't process payments ourselves and never see your payment details.
This website
This site exists to tell you about the app and answer your questions. You're welcome to read it, link to it, and email us through it. The words, design, logo, and layout are ours — please don't copy the site wholesale or pass it off as your own. Linking to a page is always fine.
Things not to do
- Don't try to reverse-engineer, exploit, or break the app or the website.
- Don't use Lift Logger to do anything illegal.
- Don't mess with other people's data or accounts (there aren't any, but still).
- Don't scrape, overload, or attack this site, or use it to distribute anything harmful.
Your data is yours
Everything you log stays on your iPhone, and your backups live in your own iCloud. We don't claim any ownership over your training data — it's yours, always. For the full picture of what we do and don't collect, see our privacy page.
The short version: use the app to train, keep a backup now and then, don't try to break things, and buy Pro or Supporter through Apple if you want to. That's essentially the whole agreement.
Changes
Features may change as the app evolves. If something material shifts, you'll see it called out in What's New. If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the bottom of this page — and if the change is significant, we'll do our best to make it obvious.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, the developer isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using Lift Logger or this website. You use both at your own discretion, and you're responsible for keeping your own backups.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, email hellosam@liftlogger.fitness and the human who works on the app will answer.
